This full-time, permanent Technical Customer Support Specialist opportunity is at an employee-owned company that created their dynamic industry.  They gift company stock, have an annual discretionary bonus and a 401k (usually is a discretionary contribution in addition to a match).  The work is interesting, challenging and not tedious as every machine manufactured is custom made to order.  

Duties and responsibilities include:
  • On-site and telephone customer support
  • Installation, start-up, service and repair supervision
  • Maintaining customer relationships
  • Protecting the company reputation as an industry leader
  • Documenting all calls
  • Understanding and communicating user manuals, installation manuals and service manuals
  • Following up with customer for satisfaction
The successful candidates' backgrounds will include:
  • Allen-Bradley Micrologix installation and troubleshooting experience
  • An engineering or technology degree
  • 5 years of field service or technical support experience
  • Solid customer support experience
  • The ability to utilize tact in professional conversations
  • Superior problem solving and business communication skills
  • The ability to develop group presentations
  • The ability to occasionally travel domestically and internationally
